We continue to increase our annual publication total with 2,719 peer-reviewed articles published in 2019 - every one of which is available to all interested readers free of charge. Last year also saw a new high in total article views with over 5.5 million across Cureus and PMC! The publishing world is increasingly moving towards an Open Access-only future and we're proud to be leading the way!

2019 also saw the introduction of a volunteer peer review panel (you can opt-in on your profile page), integrated NPI support, as well as our Cureus U specialty-focused monthly emails that deliver relevant, notable articles directly to your inbox. (More specialties coming soon!)

The Radiation Therapy as a Modality to Create Abscopal Effects: Current and Future Practices publishing competition came to a close in March with 19 published articles and over 54,000 email and article views to date. Congratulations again to the winning authors!

Even though it didn't technically launch in 2019, we'd be remiss if we didn't also mention our newest publishing competition, Clinical Applications and Benefits Using Closed-Incision Negative Pressure Therapy for Incision and Surrounding Soft Tissue Management.
